SUNDAY It was the Primary Program in the Utrecht Ward today. Even though there are only 10 children in Primary, they spoke and sang of their growing testimonies of the Savior.  The Colleyville 1st Ward and the Oak Valley Ward also had Primary programs that we were able to watch via Zoom. Technology is so helpful for us to be involved a bit in the grandkids lives. And today Adam Brown was presented to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood in preparation for his mission. It was a nice surprise for us to be able to sustain him virtually.   SUNDAY Yesterday we heard from our friend Jay Wilson that he and his son, Erick would be in Amsterdam today and Monday. They were able to take the train and come to Gouda to have dinner at our place. It was a good visit and so nice to catch up. Sadly, I forgot to take a picture. TUESDAY It was an early start today as we needed to be in Amsterdam by 8:00 to meet the new Arrivals. Elder Doxford was already getting the paper work started. We don't do anything but the essentials on this day because they are jet-lagged. Because of the early arrival, there was a lot of time before the next group came and the assigned companions would not arrive until 11:00. Elder Kempenaers decided to do a training with the new missionaries. I wanted to be a part of it so I went in and sat at the back of the room...

SUNDAY It was my week to play the piano for Sacrament Meeting today and I like to be there early enough to play the prelude music. We were there by 9:50 so I was not late, but felt I needed to get in and start. I didn't realize until the Bishop started the meeting that I did not stop to pick up a headset for translation. So I tried to understand the speakers but I didn't get anything. Thankfully, the Primary sang today. Even though I didn't understand the words, I felt the spirit and my heart was touched. These are the days I wish I could communicate in Dutch. The Ward had a pot luck lunch after church. We had some leftovers from the JoVo dance last night and everyone brought food. So there was a lot and to spare. Being able to gather with the good people of the Utrecht Ward is one of the joys of serving here. Another Primary Program this week. Casandra and Michael both did a great job on their parts. Meli is in the Primary presidency and is the 'helper' today. We...
