SUNDAY Elder Glauser taught the Sunday school class for the new members and those interested in the Church. He led a wonderful discussion about prayer with everyone making comments and contributing to the lesson. The lesson concluded with an invitation to listen to the story of Joseph Smith's First Vision keeping in mind the pattern of revelation and how our own prayers can be answered. It is a pattern we should think about often. When we have a question, we ask Heavenly Father with real intent, expecting an answer. Our answer is not usually dramatic, but rather a thought or feeling. But it is revelation, personal revelation. We had three appointments set to visit with members. on the way to our first appointment with the Sundburg's, they called to cancel because of a family emergency. We had a good visit with Kirk and Joy Fisher and invited them to find ways to Gather Israel in the next few days or weeks. It is so good to remind people of this invitation from Pres Nelson and ...

SUNDAY We went to the Giving Machines this morning to help set up for the day. Sisters from the Mesa Zone were there to start the day. We love being around these good and valiant Elders and Sisters! Sisters Thurgood, Vang, Gasperoni, Jacobsen, Abalos, Larson and Glauser Today was the rededication of the Mesa Arizona Temple. President Dallin H. Oaks presided, Elder Gerrit W. "...in the ordinances...the power of godliness is manifest." (DC 84:20) We visited Tyra Robbins with Elders Tappen and Turley. Tyra was baptized many years ...

SUNDAY We picked up our friend, Charles, for church again today. He lives in the Laveen ward boundaries so we want to help him get to know people there. Thankfully, he remembered Brother Bell, a counselor in the bishopric and was able to meet the Bishop. Elders and Sisters Kaufman, Thorson and Jones are all in the Laveen Ward and are anxious to fellowship Charles and Melony. We set a time for the sister missionaries to meet and teach them. We are excited to join them on Tuesday. Kate Markham spoke in Stake Conference in Coppell and we were able to join via Zoom. I love technology!! She gave an amazing talk full of doctrine and testimony.   After our ward, we met with Brother Parson (WML), Brother Addison (EQP), Sister Cooley (RS), and Elders Tappen and Turley for the Missionary Coordination Meeting. Elders Tappen and Turley had prepared well and had a list of everyone they are teaching and how each organization can help. We are so impressed with the way these Elders lead by e...
